Terms and Conditions

By accessing our website (www.intellihome.in), requesting an on-site survey, booking a consultation, or confirming an automation project quotation issued by IntelliHome (“Company”, “we”, “our”), you (“Client”, “Customer”, “Architect”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you represent a corporate entity, interior architecture practice, or construction developer, you warrant that you possess the requisite authority to bind that entity to these provisions.

IntelliHome provides specialized turnkey smart home engineering services, including:

• Architectural Consultation & CAD Integration: Reviewing structural drawings to formulate automation schematics, bus topologies, and conduit paths.
• Certified Wired KNX Automation: Panel engineering, industrial DIN-rail actuator assembly, decentralized fieldbus wiring, and custom ETS programming.
• DALI Architectural Lighting: Circadian daylight harvesting, DALI broadcast/addressable driver integration, and smooth 0.1% flicker-free dimming.
• Motorized Curtains & Shading: Precision measurement and installation of whisper-quiet motorized curtain tracks and motorized roller shades.
• Enterprise WiFi 6E Mesh & VLAN Setup: Multi-gigabit RF heatmap design, ceiling PoE access point placement, and VLAN security segmentation.
• Distribution Board (DB) Manufacturing: Precision wiring, phase balancing, circuit breaker protection, and surge protection device (SPD) integration.

1. Quotation Validity: All written project estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and quotations issued by IntelliHome remain valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issuance. Due to global semiconductor adjustments and copper/cable price fluctuations, pricing is subject to review upon the expiration of this window.

2. Scope Variations: Any client-requested alterations to the agreed floor plan (such as adding keypads, changing lighting circuits, or rerouting conduit lines) after quotation approval will be documented in a written Variation Order (VO) and billed separately.

3. Statutory Taxes: Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, all commercial quotations are subject to applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) under Indian tax laws.

To ensure flawless execution and avoid electrical hazards, the Client is responsible for:

• Unimpeded Physical Access: Providing IntelliHome technicians and engineers with safe, unobstructed access to the work site during agreed working hours.
• Civil Infrastructure Coordination: Ensuring the civil contractor adheres to the conduit piping depths, back-box dimensions, and wall chasing specifications provided in IntelliHome CAD schematics.
• Electrical Earthing & Neutral Provisions: Delivering a stable 230V AC (±10%) power supply with a true neutral and verified earthing resistance (≤ 2 Ohms) prior to panel energization.
• Testing Power: Providing uninterrupted temporary utility power during testing, configuration, and commissioning phases.

Smart control switchplates, capacitive glass panels, touchscreens, actuators, and motorized tracks are procured specifically against approved project milestones. IntelliHome inspects all hardware for quality benchmark compliance prior to on-site delivery.

Once delivered to the client site, the safe custody and dry storage of hardware components against physical theft, water leakage, or site damages caused by civil laborers rests with the Client until final handover.

IntelliHome stands firmly behind our engineering workmanship and partner hardware:

Warranty Exclusions: The above warranties do NOT cover failures resulting from:

• Severe electrical surges, phase-to-neutral reversals, or lightning strikes that exceed the rating of installed Class II/III Surge Protection Devices.
• Water infiltration, roof seepage, chemical damage, or rodent/termite damage inside wall conduits or distribution boards.
• Unauthorized tampering, rewiring, or third-party electrical modifications performed without the prior written consent of IntelliHome engineers.
• Physical impact, cracked capacitive glass, or scratches incurred following post-installation handover.

Standard turnkey residential automation projects adhere to the following milestone structure:

• Stage 1 (10% Advance): Project booking, CAD blueprint formulation, and conduit routing schematics.
• Stage 2 (40% Mobilization): Procurement of field cabling, back-boxes, motorized curtain tracks, and core infrastructure.
• Stage 3 (40% Hardware Delivery): Dispatch of smart touch panels, DIN-rail automation controllers, and distribution boards.
• Stage 4 (10% Handover): Final ETS system commissioning, mobile bridge pairing, scene fine-tuning, and client handover.

Invoices are payable within seven (7) business days of milestone achievement. Delays in milestone payments may result in an equivalent adjustment of delivery and installation schedules.

All custom ETS programming databases, scene logic architectures, and automation blueprints created by IntelliHome remain our proprietary intellectual work product until final settlement of all project dues.

Upon receipt of full payment, the Client is granted an irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to operate the configured automation software for the sole purpose of operating the designated residence. IntelliHome retains an encrypted archival copy of the project database to facilitate future maintenance and repairs.

Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance caused by Force Majeure events, including natural disasters, acts of civil authorities, severe grid outages, port customs clearance delays, pandemics, or civil unrest.

1. Prior to Procurement: Project cancellations requested in writing prior to hardware ordering will be refunded less the actual engineering CAD drafting and survey expenses incurred.

2. Custom Keypads & Cut-to-Size Tracks: Custom-engraved keypads, bespoke finish faceplates (e.g., champagne gold, brushed titanium), and custom-curved motorized curtain tracks are manufactured to order and are strictly non-refundable once procurement is committed.

3. Standard Modular Hardware: Unopened, unprogrammed standard DIN-rail actuators returned within fourteen (14) days of delivery are subject to a 15% manufacturer restocking and logistics charge.

These Terms and any project contracts entered into with IntelliHome shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these terms shall first be addressed through good-faith mutual negotiations. In the event negotiations fail within thirty (30) days, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Courts in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
